Adult Soccer

• 7 game season
•  player cards for up to 12 players: Playing format is "7v7"

All Games played at Lawrence Soccer Complex-South.

This is an adult league open to men and women. All players must be a parent or guardian of a youth soccer player, or a carded youth soccer coach over the age of 35. NYSL parents are eligible to play.

All players will receive a player card through US Club Soccer, this is liabilty and secondary medical insurance.

Recreational League only – this league will be recreational. If you want to play at a high level or in a very physical league, this is not the league for you. However, please note there will be some contact and a minimal amount rough play.

Adult League Rules

FIFA Rules with the follow exceptions:

1.7 versus 7 (including Goalkeeper);

2.All players must be carded through US Club Soccer;

3.A player may be rostered only on one team;

4.All players must be a parent or guardian of a youth soccer player, or a carded youth soccer coach over the age of 35;

5.No more than 12 players can be rostered on a team;

6.There must be a minimum of 9 players on a roster;

7.Substitutions on any dead ball;

8.Teams may use guest players only if there are fewer than 10 players available for a match. The guest player must be a carded player in the FC Pride adult league;

9.Field size will be approx. 80 x 60 yards with full-sized goals;

10.2 x 30 minute halves;

11.No unnecessary rough play and no slide tackling (exception goal keeper in box);

12.Offside will be called;

13.Fighting before, during or after the game will result in an automatic red card and expulsion from the league;

14.Continuous dissent with the referee will result in a red card;

15.A player will sit out the next game if the receive a red card;

16.2 red cards in a season will result in expulsion from the league;

17.Teams are required to report red cards to the league immediately after the match.

Notes on the league:

Our goal is to have fun and have an enjoyable time. This league is not about winning the world cup, but at the same time, offers a fun and competitive experience. Please keep this in mind when you sign up. If you want a more competitive league, please do not sign up. These games may be called tighter than the youth games. However, legal contact will be allowed as long as play does not get too rough. Finally, the referees are there to control the game and to help you learn the game. Asking questions and learning the game is acceptable. Continuous dissent and arguing may result in Yellow or Red cards. All calls and interpretation of the rules are the discretion of the referee.
