Team Commitment/Tryout Selections for Players U15-U18
Winter 2008-Spring 2009
All training and home games are held at Lawrence Soccer Complex which is located in Lawrence on the Northeast side of Indianapolis.
Based in Lawrence, FC Pride is one of Indiana’s largest travel clubs and has a strong reputation of developing youth soccer players. Many of our older players play for their respective high schools and the majority goes on to play at the collegiate level. Our professional staff coaches are licensed and experienced in teaching young athletes to play and enjoy the game of soccer while providing the foundation for every player to reach his or her true potential.
Primary Commitment/Tryouts Dates (Part 1): June 2-5, 2008
Who is eligible? Players that are currently U14’s, U15’s, U16’s who will be trying out for U15, U16, U17 teams.
Open to current FC Pride players and all non-FC Pride players: for Men and Men, currently on U14-U16 teams. All players that are interested in joining FC Pride for Winter 08-Spring 09 season are encouraged to attend the team selections (commitment day) this June.

Player Benefits: Players who are participating in high school soccer will not have to be concerned of their position on their current club team. Players can talk to high school teammates during the high school season about their team and playing for FC Pride. Players can start to train with the club team immediately following their high school teams elimination from the state tournament. Position acceptances with FC Pride are guaranteed.
Process: Players are required to attend appropriate team selection (commitment day) times. Player will accept or decline the clubs offer by June 6, 2008.
All Players will be offered one of 2 positions within the club at the completion of team selections:
Elite team offer: Player is placed on the Elite (first) team for the age group.
Club offer: Player is guaranteed a position in their age group within FC Pride. No specific team offered. Player will attend the supplementary tryouts in October and be placed onto either the Elite or Select team.
If a player accepts,they will be required to pay a $400 non-refundable deposit by June 12, 2008.
Player will still be required to attend supplemental tryouts in October to help complete the team selection process.
If a player declines to make a decision, they may still elect to attend the supplemental tryouts (Part 2) in October to be considered for a team.

Classic Level Teams (Parent Coached): Players interested in playing for the Classic team only, must complete the online registration, you will be asked on the application specifically if you are interested in the Classic team only.
If players cannot attend sessions please contact the appropriate director(You will still be required to register your player).

General Selection Process Information:
- All players are recommended to pre-register prior to Friday, May 30, 2008, by 5:00pm.
- All sessions will take place at the Lawrence Soccer Complex- South Fields.
- All players are highly recommended to attend ALL sessions.
- All players need to arrive 30 minutes prior to the first session to complete the registration process. Registration will take place at the concession stand by the south fields.
- All players are required to wear shin guards and to bring their own water and soccer ball.
- Players will be notified of team placement by phone following the conclusion of the second session. Players should be prepared to make a decision at that time.
