June 30: Depart Indianapolis for overnight journey to Barcelona, Spain. After connecting in a US gateway city, arrival in Barcelona will be in the morning of the next day.
July 1: Upon arrival in Barcelona your group will be met by a local representative and a privately chartered bus. You will be transferred to your accommodations located near the city center. All rooms with have private bathroom and shower facilities. A daily buffet breakfast will be included for all travelers at the hotel.
After checking in you will have the chance to explore the city on your own for the remainder of the afternoon and evening.
July 2: After breakfast the group will have a tour of Barcelona. The tour will include the Cathedral, the Gothic Quarter, Generalitat, the Town Hall, Las Ramblas, followed by free time in the city for shopping and lunch.
Later in the afternoon the group will transfer to the famous Camp Nou Stadium, home of the professional team FC Barcelona. There is also an FC Barcelona museum and shop connected to the stadium to visit.
July 3: The morning will be free to relax and do some additional sightseeing or shopping on your own.
In the afternoon you will transfer to a local club where each FC Pride team will play a friendly match against a local team.
July 4: In the morning the group will check out of the hotel and load up the bus for the transfer to San Sebastian. We will plan a stop for lunch and some informal sightseeing in Zaragosa, about half way.
The seaside resort of San Sebastian is the home of the Donosti Cup tournament. Your group will arrive at the tournament headquarters for check in and then be taken to your accommodations.
July 5-10: The Donosti Cup tournament has earned a reputation as one of Europe’s premier youth tournaments: 200 teams from 20 different nations are expected. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of four games. The tournament begins on July 5 with an impressive Opening Ceremonies at the local professional team’s stadium. The event comes to a close with the finals on Saturday, July 10.
July 11: After eleven days of soccer, sightseeing and fun it will be time to return to the USA. A privately chartered bus will transport the group to the airport in nearby Bilbao, where you board a connecting flight back to the USA, connecting through Madrid and Chicago before landing in Indianapolis.
