This program is designed for the athlete who is looking for a competitive travel soccer experience that may not be as demanding on time, commitment or cost as the traditional FC Pride program.
All Classics level teams are coached by parent coaches with support and direction from the club’s coaching directors. The basic program is designed to keep costs to a minimum and time to a reasonable level, consistent with a competitive travel experience. Individual teams are able to determine for themselves the amount of winter training they do and tournaments they will enter.
The FC Pride Soccer Club forms Classic level soccer teams for the playing year (August-June). Players attend team selections in the last week of June for the playing year. Teams are formed based on the sufficient numbers of interested players, sufficient ability level and parent willingness to volunteer. Parents volunteering to coach will be fully supported by the Clubs professional coaching staff and receive training, curriculum support and certification opportunities. FC Pride typically has 1-2 classics teams per age and gender, but may combine age groups for High School players to form teams as appropriate.
All training and home games are held at Lawrence Soccer Complex which is located in Lawrence on the Northeast side of Indianapolis.
