Junior Travel Soccer Teams (Ages U11-U14)
This program is designed to prepare your athlete for FC Pride Soccer Club’s Senior travel program and their high school soccer program.
All training and home games are held at Lawrence Soccer Complex which is located in Lawrence on the Northeast side of Indianapolis.
Based in Lawrence, FC Pride is one of Indiana’s largest travel clubs and has a strong reputation of developing youth soccer players. Many of our older players play for their respective high schools and the majority goes on to play at the collegiate level. Our professional staff coaches are licensed and experienced in teaching children to play and enjoy the game of soccer while providing the foundation for every player to reach his or her true potential.
The FC Pride Soccer Club fields soccer teams for the playing year ( August-June). Players attend team selections in June for the playing year. Teams are formed on each player’s playing ability. FC Pride typically has 2-3 teams per age and gender.
Elite Teams U13-U14 will play in the Midwest Regional League or the Indiana State League. League selection is based on the teams playing ability. Teams will train 3 days a week. League play can be on Saturday or Sunday; league play travel is based on the specific league in which the team participates. Teams participate in 2-3 tournaments in the fall and 2-3 in the spring. No more than 2 of the tournaments are out of the Indianapolis area; Team travel may extend beyond 5 hours. Teams participate in mandatory winter program (included in the cost) which focuses on skill, tactical, physical and core fitness development. All Elite level teams are coached by FC Pride professional coaches.
Select Teams U11-U14: Typically play in local leagues and train 3 days a week. League play can be on Saturday or Sunday; league play travel is in the Greater Indianapolis area. Teams participate in 1-3 tournaments in the fall and 1-3 in the spring. Tournaments may be out of Indianapolis and require an overnight stay. Travel typically is no more than 2 hours away from Indianapolis. Teams participate in a winter program (included in the cost) which focuses on skill, tactical and core fitness development. All Select level teams are coached by FC Pride professional coaches.
The calendar season for all Elite and Select teams begins in August (first week) and ends in June (last week). Each group classification will receive their soccer schedule for the entire year, during the first week in August. Select teams do not train or play during November and December. Elite Teams may participate in November. All winter training activities begin in January for both Elite and Select teams.
