Indianapolis, IN; December 21, 2018; FC Pride Soccer Club Announce Facilities Expansion

For players and coaches within FC Pride Soccer Club, stepping out onto the pitch in 2019 will be even more impressive - FC Pride Soccer Club have today announced plans to redevelop and transform the land south of the Pride Performance Center into a state-of-the-art turf stadium.

Phase one of the project will cost approximately $1 million, with the plan to break ground April 1, 2019 and completion date of July 1, 2019.   FC Pride will begin fundraising initiatives to help with the financing of the project. FC Pride has already gained approval from a financial institution for a portion of the cost but will be looking to fundraise to bridge the gap.  At this time, the club is seeking corporate sponsors and donations to cover approximately $250,000 for the construction of the turf stadium.  Pride families, we need your help, please ask your employer or local businesses for their support.  FC Pride Soccer Club is seeking company sponsorship for stadium naming rights, team uniforms, practice jerseys and advertising throughout the turf field.

Executive Director of Coaching, Jamie Gilbert said,
‘The development of this project represents an exciting time at the club.  We are committed to investing in our players and staff by providing the very best training and game environment possible.  In the Midwest, turf facilities are a necessity in helping to deal with the winter months and extending the programming we can offer.  This turf field will be a ground-breaking step in our journey and will be the first facility of its type that is privately owned by a club in the Indianapolis area.  This development directly impacts every player, coach and parent in the FC Pride family, and I cannot wait to see it become a catalyst for helping us reach the next level.  This new era starts now . . . ’

In addition to the new turf field offering training benefits, it will also allow FC Pride to expand their tournament offerings throughout the year and build on the ever-thriving FC Pride Cup and Red Lion Invitational tournaments that already exist.  FC Pride Soccer Club has also been in negotiations with a number of organizations to host several events in the upcoming years at the new facility that will gain national attention and recognition.

FC Pride families, please join us in all upcoming fundraising and sponsorship efforts in 2019, all of our teams and families will see the value in having our own home turf field.
